January 2025:

  • fileServersNG 25.1 - Minor update to fix an issue when upgrading from an earlier version of the fileServersNG AMP, pre-built 25.1 AMP is available here, and supports Alfresco versions from 6.2, 7.x, up to the latest 23.x.

Oct 2024:

  • fileServersNG 24.3 - Adds a client API implementation and the File Explorer Menu for Alfresco Windows client application. Plus latest JFileServer/Enterprise updates, pre-built 24.3 AMP available here (for Alfresco versions 6.2, 7.x and 23.x)
  • JFileServer 1.4.0 released - Adds the client API and File Explorer Menu for JFileServer client application that adds a context menu to Windows File Explorer.
  • JFileServer Enterprise 1.3.0 released - Add support for client API to SMB2 and SMB3, various minor bug fixes.

May 2024:

  • fileServersNG 24.2 - fixed an issue with handling of link files, added the smb.linkUrlHostName property, plus latest JFileServer/Enterprise updates, pre-built 24.2 AMP available here (for Alfresco versions 6.2, 7.x and 23.x)
  • JFileServer 1.3.18 released - Fixes to NTLM and Kerberos authentication.

January 2024:

  • fileServersNG updated for the latest Alfresco 23.1 release - the fileServersNG AMP has been renamed to fileserversng-yy.r.AMP, where 'yy' is the release year and 'r' is the release number for that year. The latest fileserversng-24.1.AMP is available here, and supports Alfresco versions from 6.2, 7.x, up to the latest 23.1.
